How to submit a 'Day in the Life' story

Showcasing what a graduate's typical day looks like is a great way to attract quality applications.

Create day-in-the-life story articles that help students understand what it is like to work at your organisation.

.

Note: As of the moment, this is not yet available via the Prosple Employer Hub so for now a Customer Success team will assist you in having them live.
  1. Download a copy of the template here (If you can't access the link above, please email hello@prosple.com and ask for a Day in the Life story template.)
  2. Please forward a copy of it to your graduates and have it filled out.
  3. Ask them to document their day in first-person(i.e. from their point of view, in a ‘diary’ format) in chronological order, organised under subheadings for each time window (e.g. 6.30 am - woke up and went to Gym).
  4. Ask them to provide the following information as well:
    • First and last name
    • Current role
    • School/University attended
    • Year of graduation
  5. What makes this content unique is the photo associated with each time window they share. You can submit photos via any of the following methods:
    • Their own candid shots - Ask the graduate to submit candid shots/selfies taken by someone else doing something related to what they have written in their day.
    • Organise a photoshoot - Same with office tours, you can organise a photo shoot with us to take some pictures of your graduates while in your office. Before following the steps for this option, make sure to check with your account manager if this is included in your package.
      • Complete this form: Photoshoot booking form
      • From here we will send a link to the provided email address to book a date and time that suits the team best.
      • Once the photoshoot is done by our 3rd party photographer we will wait for the edited photos for review.
      • Once the photos are available we will share them with you for review and you can select which ones we will include on the day in the life story. Please provide a short description for each photo selected.
      • The customer success team will then include this once they upload the story.
    • Photos you may already have - You may have recently had some creatives done with your graduates and we can use them instead for the day in the life stories. You just need to send these along with the completed document.
  6. Submit the graduates' documented day in the life with all the other information needed(Current role, photos, etc) to your account manager or to hello@prosple.com
  7. The Customer Success team will then review your submission and will get back to you within 3-5 business days once the content is live on your profile.
